BUYERS
Are you considering moving into the Dallas/Ft. Worth area?
Perhaps you want to move within the Metroplex.
Buying a home can be a daunting experience but I can help.
First I gather information, for example:
- What are your special needs? Do you need a bedroom and
bath down with handrails or do you need a roll in shower?
Do you need to be close to hospitals?
- What are the needs of other family members? Are schools
important?
- Where is your work located? How far are you willing to
drive?
- What is your time frame? Do you start your new job in
two weeks or do you have months to search.
- Do you want new construction or preowned?
- What kind of home do you envision? Traditional or contemporary?
How much square footage? Single or two stories? Pool or
no pool? Large lot or zero lot?
- Do you have specific need not related to disability? Perhaps
a large dining room for Grandma’s table that seats
thirty
- How much are you comfortable spending?
Once I have all the information I need then we can start
“shopping”.
The first step is to be prequalified. If need be, I can help
you find a lender. Then, before we start looking at homes
you will be informed about down payment, closing costs, interest
rates, and your approximate house payment. Informed buyers
make better decisions.
After we select your dream home, I will guide you through
the process of purchasing a home. From writing an offer, through
negotiating, inspections, repairs and closing I will be your
advocate.
FAQ:
If you are in a wheelchair can you get into all the
homes we want to see?
Probably, we have ramps in various sizes that can get me into
most homes. However, I work with my able bodied husband Bill
who will do the initial showing. We can provide digital photography
of inaccessible areas to a handicapped family member.
