The moment of forgetting something crucial in our daily life can be extremely upsetting, especially as you get older, as things seem to get worse. When your memory is not at its best, it can burden your ability to understand your basic daily goals and tasks. Although there is no pill to improve memory, scientists have spent decades analyzing best practices that have been shown to improve memory in measurable ways. Here are the five strategies to improve your memory. Practice Being Mindful Our minds wander about 30% of the time. It’s getting harder to get all the information you can get in your head when half the attention is everywhere. This is where conscious meditation comes into play. This type of meditation draws your attention to the present moment in a non-technical way. It motivates people to settle in at this time and thus reduces disturbing and overly negative thoughts buzzing in their heads.
